CLIFFORD R. FISCHER
Chairman of the Board & CEO
Clifford R. Fischer founded the company on July 1, 1985 with the goal of establishing the most quality-oriented and technology-driven corporate real estate services firm in the world. Mr. Fischer was the first to couple corporate real estate brokerage services for tenants with software development services for the corporate real estate executive. Mr. Fischer developed his first custom corporate real estate software application in 1986 for Oryx Energy Company. The requests for software solutions multiplied to include solutions developed for IBM, ITT, Dun & Bradstreet Software, Verizon (at that time GTE), Equitable and Texas Instruments. Throughout those early years Cliff was also representing clients including Alexander & Alexander, FedEx, Citicorp, Borg Warner and AT&T in real estate transactions. Through this unique experience, Mr. Fischer has emerged as a leading authority on corporate real estate’s best practices, process architecture and strategic planning.
Prior to establishing Fischer & Company, Mr. Fischer began his career as a Vice President with First Dallas Investors in 1981, where he developed and managed the company’s new brokerage division, while leasing the company’s office and industrial projects throughout Dallas. In 1982, he joined Baldwin Harris as Director of Marketing handling the leasing of their major office park on LBJ in Dallas. Mr. Fischer’s first foray into tenant representation came when he joined Fults & Associates in 1983 as a broker representing major corporations.
Mr. Fischer graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1981 and has worked in commercial real estate since his junior year in college. He resides in Plano, Texas with his wife and three children.
