Fischer & Company Sponsors 24th Annual CREW Classic Golf Tournament

Fischer & Company was proud to be a sponsor in this year’s CREW Classic golf tournament, an annual event that raises money for local charities that help improve the lives of Dallas’ women and girls.   This year’s Classic, which has gained the reputation of being one of the leading golf tournaments in Dallas, was held at Glen Eagles Country Club on April 19, 2010, and included over 100 participants from the Dallas metroplex.  Since its inception in 1985, CREW Classic has raised more than $2.5 million benefiting over 40 local non-profit organizations.

“As a member of CREW, I was very excited to participate in the annual tournament and be involved as much as possible with CREW and its mission” stated Joan Richardson, Fischer & Company Director of Operations.

“We feel that CREW members who work so hard on the tournament, as well as those people who sponsor or participate in the CREW Classic, should know where the dollars raised are actually given and the good they do in our community,” said Jill Warren, president of CREW Dallas and vice president of Jackson-Shaw. 

This year’s proceeds benefited YWCA, Our Friend’s Place, Community Dental and Grace Unlimited through the Dallas Women’s Foundation, research grants for women’s health issues through University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and the CREW Foundation.
