Fischer & Company Co-Brokers the Sale of 1.4 Million Square Feet in Century Business Center for $40 Million.
Fischer & Company represented Vought, a subsidiary of The Carlyle Group, five years ago in the sale of its 3 million square foot facility, Century Business Center in Hawthorne, California, to Kearny Real Estate Company and structured a lease back of nearly half of the site to Vought. In April, 2010, the 1.4 million square feet of industrial and manufacturing space being leased by Vought has been sold to Buchanan Street Partners and Zelman Development Company for $40 million. Representing Kearny in this latest transaction was Jeff Kernochan of Fischer & Company and Bill Palmer of the Palmer Team.
