PRESIDENT, FISCHER

 

CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

As President of Fischer, Ted is responsible for directing business development efforts, maintaining client relationships and guiding the overall strategic planning for the company. Ted’s leadership skills have helped him foster new professional relationships and contribute to the success of Fischer’s continued expansion. Ted also serves on Fischer’s board of directors, providing leadership, client relationship management and strategic counsel.

Passionate about creating meaningful strategy that positively impacts corporations’ real estate portfolios, Ted helps Fischer’s clients streamline operational efficiencies; minimize capital expenditures; increase earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) ratios; and improve run rates.

Ted joined Fischer in 1996 as the company’s Executive Vice President and COO, and he is credited with developing Fischer’s standardized strategic planning process. With more than 25 years of real estate experience, Ted has managed the portfolios of 52 key client alliances, including globally-recognized companies such as Alcoa, Saint-Gobain and Wasau Windows and Walls.

 

EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Fischer, Ted served as Senior Vice President for the real estate services department of The Prudential Insurance Company of America, one of the largest life insurance companies in the United States. As Senior Vice President, Ted directed the company’s leasing and tenant representation efforts on a national basis, and he built its marketing team from the ground up, opening 17 offices within 18 months.

Before Prudential, Ted worked at a well-known full-service commercial real estate development company in Dallas, where he closed more than 250 lease transactions totaling more than six million square feet. Ted has also held various sales positions at Alcoa, the world leader in aluminum smelting capacity and the second largest producer of aluminum.
